"Aura Mediations" by Ania amador and christopher morphis
What does the painting mean?
The two paths leading into the forest represent our freedom to choose our own direction.
The eye in the earth represents consciousness and the fact that nature is living, breathing, and aware of itself.
The heart chakra is a 64 point tetrahedron, representing the way our love is the energy that manifest our desires into 3d reality.
The third eye is the earth with the flower of life overlaid on it, showing how it really is all in your head.
The Crystals protruding from the ground represent the energy in nature that we can absorb through meditation and through a connection with the earth.
The meditating man reinforces the idea of spending time in nature, centering your thoughts and focusing your energy.
The landscape in the mural reminds us of Suwannee. We chose to keep it mostly black and white because it looks cold or frosty and that is definitely what we all experienced, camping in mid February.
In summary, this mural reinforces the idea that if you connect with nature, focus your thoughts and harness the energy around you, you can separate yourself from the ideas that seek to consume you and begin living a life of meaning that you control. This can be achieved through meditation and constant efforts towards awareness. Being conscious of your ability to manifest your future is the first step in this process.

Live painter and large scale mural artist Ania Amador joined forces with one of the most talented visionary artists on the scene today, Christopher Morphis.
A truly epic mural that captured the essence of Aura Music Festival on so many different levels.
Aura Music Festival is held at the beautiful Spirit of Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida.
February 14-16, 2014. We started painting on Friday but the rain washed away the first session. We started over on Saturday and finished by the end of the last Lotus set on Sunday, 2/16.
Ania and Chris are committed to spreading a positive message through their art. They both paint live very quickly and wanted to combine their individual strengths and talents to bring a very important message about meditation, consciousness, connection to nature, freedom of choice, and manifestation to life. Aura Music Festival also values these concepts and has done a great job of creating an environment that educates, engages, and influences people in a positive way, so this was the perfect place for these two visual artists to come together.
Ania and Chris had discussed the concept vaguely prior to the festival, however Chris insisted that they allow the universe to guide this mural throughout the process. Given that they had never painted together before, they were not exactly sure what to expect, but sure enough, the concept came together throughout the weekend. The rain set them back on Friday, but they picked up where they left off on Saturday, working with whatever rain left behind.
